Friday October 24 at The Tower Sports Club: The Suicide Lounge CD Release Party! The Suicide Lounge have recorded their first album; come celebrate with them and hear the songs live! Oh, and you can buy a CD, too.

The album “The Pop That Offends” features original songs by The Suicide Lounge, plus several covers of songs by Fresno bands including The Miss Alans, The Shroud, and Blake Jones & The Trike Shop, and songwriters Scott Hatfield and Stan Schaffer. If you can’t come to the show, the album will soon be available online at BandCamp, iTunes, Amazon, etc.

The Suicide Lounge will play two shows at ‘Downtown Rogue at Frank’s Place’ (next to the Warnor’s Theater, downstairs from Star Palace), featuring songs written by themselves and other local composers. The shows will be Fri. Feb. 28 @ 7:30 pm and Fri. March 7 @ 9:00 pm. The songlist includes “The One He Likes” by The Miss Alans, “Your Sad Party Dress” by Blake Jones & The Trike Shop, “Belmont” by Scott Hatfield, “Where Is the Laughter” by Stan Schaffer, “Falling Dream’ by The Shroud, and of course many groovy songs by the Lounge’s own Nate Butler and Robert Paul.
$5 — All ages welcome, full bar for 21+
